Keep in mind ES eyepieces used to be much cheaper. Many of them were $100 and I remember the 30mm going on sale for $200 multiple times. So some people might have bought them cheap years ago but eventually they fell out of favor, not enough ER like Morpheus, maybe not as sharp as TV, not as wide as HDC, etc.

On the other hand, moderated forums do work well, because the lower traffic, the absence of a sales focus, and the active presence of moderators makes posting some kind of garbage a losing proposition.

The 52mm one is the real winner of the Antares erfles. After 2 weeks of side by side comparison with a Celestron 8 inch F/6 Starhopper,I sold the Celestar 8 for $750 in an add in the local newspaper. The feature I liked least about the SCT was having to lug it oudoors.
